Intensive General English Program

This is a program of English study, that is custom-tailored to meet the needs of individual students and groups. Students are exposed to a wide range of materials and do not follow one particular textbook.

Courses are available at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced. All aspects of language (conversation, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and grammar) are covered. You can focus on the areas of English that you want to improve.

Teaching groups are small (2 - 6 students). Mini teaching groups mean more individual attention, a friendly and comfortable learning environment, and greater opportunities for speaking practice. You will quickly develop fluency and confidence in speaking English.

The centre has excellent audio/video, computing and self-access facilities, which provide extensive language and self-study practice.

For more advanced level students who plan to take a language examination, or who are planning to attend college or university, there are courses focusing on the development of reading, writing, and vocabulary, as well as examination strategies and note-taking skills.

Course Duration

Courses in the Intensive English Program are available for a minimum of two (2) weeks and a maximum of twelve (12) weeks. Courses begin every Monday (except when Monday is a public holiday).

The timetable includes 25 hours mini group tuition per week, plus 5 hours of additional self study and access to our computer facilities after school. The study programs are intensive, and tuition is with a teacher face-to-face for the full 25 hours per week.
