Inclusions & Exclusions


There are no photocopy or materials charges, and your fees include:

  • Free wifi
  • All teaching materials and self-study resources
  • Airport pick up and transfer to your accommodation in Port Douglas

Registration Fee

A registration fee of A$220 applies to all enrolments. Please note that the registration fee is not refundable, but it is transferable. This means that if, for any reason at all, you are unable to attend the course you have enrolled in, the registration fee will be held over and can be used for another course at another time at the language centre.

Accommodation

Homestay Accommodation: Your own room, 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner) - $340 per week.

An accommodation fee of A$180 applies if you require us to arrange and book your homestay or other accommodation.

To Enrol

To enrol in one of our courses please complete the on-line enquiry form or, if you prefer, download an enrolment form, and then return the completed form to us. Using the information from this form, we will be better able to meet your needs and requirements. All information provided will remain confidential.

Refund Policy

Applicants receive a full refund of fees (less bank transfer charges) if bookings are cancelled more than 14 days before the beginning of a course or if a visa cannot be obtained. The first week's fee will be retained by the centre if bookings are cancelled less than 14 days before the course starts. The centre should be notified in writing of the student's intention to withdraw from a course. If a student withdraws after the beginning of a course, there is no refund of any tuition fees paid, except in the case of severe illness or other urgent family circumstances. Where Port Douglas English Language Centre is unable to offer a course, or terminates a course before it is completed, students will receive a refund of any outstanding fees. The registration and accommodation placement fees are not refundable. No fees are refundable for public holidays or days lost due to the student's absence. A refund will be paid to the person who enters into the contract with the school, unless that person directs the school, in writing, to pay the refund to someone else.
